V roku 2023 obhájila dizertačnú prácu s názvom Analýza bariér vstupu na trh práce obyvateľov marginalizovaných rómskych komunít na Univerzite Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre a získala tak doktorandský titul PhD. v odbore sociálna práca. Je autorkou viacerých odborných článkov na rôzne oblasti inklúzie Rómov. Ako výskumná pracovníčka sa podieľala v roku 2011 v Centre pre výskum etnicity a kultúry (CVEK) na projektoch zameraných na inkluzívne vzdelávanie. V rokoch 2013 – 2015 pracovala v CVEKu na projekte o Dočasných vyrovnávajúcich opatreniach pre rómskych študentov stredných škôl. Je autorkou kvalitatívneho výskumu „Elokované pracoviská stredných odborných škôl pri marginalizovaných rómskych komunitách – Cesta k začleneniu alebo vylúčeniu rómskej mládeže?“, ktorý prezentovala v apríli 2015.  V októbri 2015 absolvovala 8 týždňovú stáž v Chicagu zameranú na komunitné organizovanie.  V marci 2016 získala ocenenie Mesta Skalica pre sociálnych pracovníkov. Zastupuje organizáciu ako podpredseníčka Výboru na predchádzanie a elimináciu rasizmu, xenofóbie, antisemitizmu a ostatných foriem intolerancie a je členkou Rady vlády pre národnostné menšiny.

In 2023 she defended her dissertation thesis entitled Analysis of barriers to entry into the labour market for people from marginalised backgrounds at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra and thus obtained a PhD in social work. In 2006 she received her Master’s degree at University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra . She is the author of several scientific articles. As a research fellow at the Centre for Research on Ethnicity and Culture in 2011, she participated in projects focused on inclusive education. In 2013-2015 she worked at CVEK in a project about Temporary Balancing Measures for Roma students in secondary schools. She is the author of the qualitative research ” Elocated branches of secondary vocational schools next to marginalised Roma communities – The path to inclusion or exclusion of Roma youth?”, which she presented in April 2015.  In October 2015, she completed an 8-week professional fellowship in Chicago focused on community organising.  In March 2016, she received the City of Skalica award for social workers. She represents the organization as the Vice-Chair of the Committee for the Prevention and Elimination of Racism, Xenophobia, Antisemitism and Other Forms of Intolerance, and she is a member of the Government Council for National Minorities.

Mgr. Sára Danielová, junior researcher

Magisterský titul získala na Univerzite sv. Cyrila a Metoda v Trnave, na Fakulte sociálnych vied v odbore sociálne služby a poradenstvo. V súčasnosti pokračuje v doktorandskom štúdiu v odbore sociálna politika. Jej odborné záujmy sa zameriavajú na problematiku rasovej diskriminácie Rómov na Slovensku i v medzinárodnom kontexte. Absolvovala viacero školení a seminárov venovaných tejto téme, doma aj v zahraničí. Jej diplomová práca zameraná na protirómsky rasizmus získala celoslovenské ocenenie za kvalitné spracovanie tejto dôležitej problematiky.

She holds a Master’s degree from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Faculty of Social Sciences in the field of social services and counselling. She is currently continuing her doctoral studies in social policy . Her professional interests focus on the issue of racial discrimination of Roma in Slovakia and in the international context. She has attended several training courses and seminars on this topic, both at home and abroad. Her diploma thesis focused on anti-Roma racism won a national award for the quality of her work on this important issue.
